UTAH!

Oh, we spent the most amazing week in Utah visiting family and friends. Kevin's parents were kind enough to let us stay with them and eat all their food (sorry...). It was so wonderful to be with them! We had such beautiful, warm weather while we were there and had so much fun. Our first afternoon was spent at a really neat park in Alpine (Creekside Park). Dayna and the kiddos met up too. I was surprised to see what a mama's boy Vinny had become - so cute! He did not want anything to do with me :(
The next day was Sunday and Mother's Day! We went to church with Dave and Colleen and then had the yummiest Sunday meal with Kevin's family. Kevin spoiled me by changing all diapers and watching the kids the entire day so I could just chit-chat with family that I haven't seen in a long time. BTW - I love being a mom to these two cuties! and I am grateful for my mom and my mother-in-law who raised me and Kevin. I am also especially grateful for my dear friends and sisters who are amazing mothers and who set such a good example for me to strive for.

On Monday, my totally awesome sisters threw a baby shower for me! It was so fun to catch up with those I love! (Dayna - I need those pics!)

Jayne actually letting me cuddle her. I did have to give her a back tickle to entice this position :)

My dear friend Sara and her baby Lucy
Afterwards, we hit up Provo Beach Resort at the Riverwoods
Later that evening, we had a BBQ with Kevin's brother Jake and his wife Shea and their kiddos. We got to see their new beautiful home and enjoy their awesome firepit in their backyard.

On Tuesday, we spent the day swimming at the Magleby's and then enjoying a BBQ with friends/family in Alpine.
On Wednesday, we met up with my sibs at the new City Creek shopping in Salt Lake. We let the kids splash around in the fountain and then met up with my mom's parents (Grandma and Grandpa Gibbs). Afterwards, a few of us checked out temple square.

Right when we returned from Salt Lake to Kevin's parents' house, we quickly got ready to go see Shea graduate from nursing school. Sorry no pics. But, a huge congratulations to Shea and her family for such a wonderful accomplishment!! That night, I went out with my sisters to Happy Sumo - no kids attended. It was such a fun evening which may or may not have included someone trying on a "bombshell" bra at Victoria's Secret ;)
Thursday was our last day in Utah and it was also Kevin's dad's birthday! Kevin spent the morning golfing (and the afternoon golfing) while the kids and I hung out with grandma. We went on a walk and buzzed Nathan's head. That night we had a BBQ to celebrate Dave's big day. I am kicking myself for having no pictures. In fact, I feel like I hardly took any pictures our entire vacation. I guess that's what happens when you're full-on pregnant and your brain isn't functioning properly. All-in-all Utah was amazing! It was so fun to see so many that we love! Hope we can come back soon!

Mothers' Day Preschool Program

Jordan's preschool class put on a "Mothers' Day Tea" for all the mommies. They serenaded us with beautiful music and had yummy refreshments. I was so happy to be able to spend this morning with my little bud.

In this clip, the teacher has gone back to Jordan to see if he can remember a reason why he loves his mom (He couldn't think of one the first go-round). He still couldn't remember, so I said one that I had read on a paper that he had filled out - "She lets me look at toys at Walmart". Such a funny guy!

It's a Girl!

On May 3, Kevin, Jordan and I went to Maternal Fetal Medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital to find out what we were having. Before going in for the ultrasound, I asked Kevin what he thought we were having. He very confidently said boy and I agreed. So it was a shock to find out we are actually going to have a sweet baby GIRL! Our boy world is about to be rocked with loads of pink. I'm super excited but still a little shocked. I don't think it's truly hit me yet.
